The interfaith voice brings together diverse traditions Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Bah\u00e1\u02bc\u00ed, Traditional African Religions, and many more reminding the world that care for people and the planet transcends religious boundaries.<\/span><\/p>\n Fossil Fuels threat to\u00a0 Humanity\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n The burning of coal, oil, and gas is the single largest driver of climate change. Its impacts such as drought, floods, displacement, and food insecurity fall hardest on the poor and vulnerable, stripping away dignity and threatening the right to life.<\/span><\/p>\n For Africa, which has contributed the least to global emissions, this injustice is especially painful. Communities already bear the burdens of climate change while corporations and governments continue to expand fossil fuel projects.<\/span><\/p>\n Faith Voice for Justice<\/b><\/p>\n Faith traditions call us to protect the vulnerable, defend human dignity, and safeguard creation. Silence in the face of fossil fuel expansion is no longer an option. Faith leaders have a moral duty to speak out against:<\/span><\/p>\n Advocacy rooted in faith is not just about resisting harm it is about advancing life-giving alternatives.<\/span><\/p>\n Renewable Energy as Care for Creation<\/b><\/p>\n Transitioning to renewable energy solar, wind, geothermal is not merely a technical necessity. It is an ethical and spiritual choice. It means:<\/span><\/p>\n The Power of Interfaith Solidarity<\/b><\/p>\n When faith communities stand together, their collective moral power becomes a beacon of hope and justice. Interfaith advocacy unites people beyond doctrines, showing that the struggle for climate justice is a shared spiritual mission. \n<\/span>Africa holds abundant solar, wind, and geothermal potential. This action calls for investing in real solutions that meet energy needs without destroying the planet.<\/span><\/li>\n
\n<\/span>Empty promises are not enough. The action demands leaders, corporations, and governments choose dignity and sustainability over exploitation and greed.<\/span><\/li>\n
