The Renewable Charge
As the global push for an equitable transition to renewable energy gains momentum, 350 GROC has been running a powerful community-led renewable energy advocacy campaign in Ghana. Under the renewable energy 4 communities(RE4C) campaign, the organisation has been raising awareness on the benefits of renewable energy, empowering youth and women and advocating for 100% RE in Ghana
Ghana's Renewable Energy potential

Wind
With an estimated capacity of over 2,000 (MW), Ghana has abundant wind resources that can meet its energy needs.
Hydro
At present, Ghana's hydropower potential is estimated to be about 2420 MW
Geothermal
Thermal generation accounts for the largest share of Ghana's power generation, representing 66%
Ocean
Based on the ECMWF wave dataset, it's estimated that global Ghana's gross wave power resource is 7215 MW.
